Our Advent Dogs
We have been counting down the days to Christmas with our ‘RSDR Advent Dogs’. Here are a couple of the beautiful boys and girls we have featured:

Jeremiah was our seventh advent dog. This poor boy had a terrible start to his life. Jeremiah and his five sisters were left outside the shelter in sacks. They were terrified and covered in faeces. Sadly, two of the pups passed away. Jeremiah is a happy boy; he gets on great with the other dogs and puppies at the shelter. He enjoys his walks and loves to splash through the river. Because Jeremiah has been at the shelter for a while he will undoubtedly need some time to adjust to a home environment. If you could offer this lovely boy a forever home please visit our website and complete an adoption questionnaire https://www.streetdogrescue.com/adopt

Handsome tripawd Kotsi was rescued in December 2016 as he was malnourished and suffering from a broken hind leg. Our vet had to amputate the leg as the damage was severe. Kotsi would make a wonderful family addition; he is affectionate and loves other dogs, walks in the countryside and splashing about in the river. He does have a high prey drive so is looking for a home without cats and other small animals. If you could offer him a forever home in 2020 please visit our website and complete an adoption questionnaire https://www.streetdogrescue.com/adopt
Fun in the snow!

Call for sponsors

We have lots of dogs and cats at the shelter in need of a sponsor, just like little Allegra. Money raised through sponsorship is so important to us and the animals here. The money is used for the huge daily feeding costs of the animals at the shelter, as well as those that we feed on the streets.
There are half and full sponsorship options available and would make a fantastic Christmas present. For more information regarding sponsors, please go to www.streetdogrescue.com/sponsor

MAMA DOG

First snow of this winter. Mama Dog still doesnt mind being outside. She’s always got the choice to come and live inside but chooses the life she leads. One day, hopefully she will want to live inside with us.

MAXI
It’s taken Maxi 3 years to trust us enough to pet him. He was in a bad way when we rescued him and his back leg was badly broken and it did not help that he was feral. He’s lived outside of the shelter for 3 years and we see him now and again. There is always a supply of fresh food out for any cat that comes by. So the last few months he’s really come round to being friendly and wanting a fuss.

Thank you to Andre Vet Clinic
You looked after the girls, Mimosa and Sariba, so well when they were recently spayed.
